This major is designed for students who want to pursue an academic rather than professional program of media studies. Students are exposed first to the breadth of approaches to understanding the mass media (., aesthetic, humanistic, social–behavioral, legal policy) and then, by selecting one of five options, go into depth in a specialized area of media studies. All options within the major are closely intertwined with the
liberal arts and sciences. Therefore, students who successfully complete this major must have a strong foundation in the liberal arts and well-developed language and analytical skills.

YI is dedicated to representing undergraduate research in biological/biomedical sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and engineering, psychology, and social sciences.
The . provides a broad theoretical foundation in social and psychological theory as well as the opportunity to engage in supervised field experience. In addition, the . degree emphasizes quantitative research skills and requires the completion of a senior thesis. The major is designed to prepare students for a variety of career fields including human resources, business administration, mental health, and social work, as well as for continued study in graduate or professional school.
This program undergoes accrediation by the Council for Accrediation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) with a Specialized Professional Association (SPA) review conducted by the American Middle Level Association (AMLE).
The Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training provides a concentrated program of courses designed to prepare students for a career in the profession of athletic training. This major has been designed to meet the standards for national certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) and legal certification by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation and successful completion of the national BOC examination, students may seek employment in various professional settings including: professional sports, colleges and universities, secondary schools, hospitals, sports medicine clinics, industrial settings plus many more.

The Undergraduate Journal of Psychology at Berkeley is an annual publication that allows undergraduate students who have completed scientific studies in psychology and psychology-related fields to publish their findings to the larger academic community, promoting further and more excellent undergraduate research. UJPB accepts and reviews submissions from all psychology-related fields, including psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, and linguistics, as long as the papers are the original work of undergraduate students.
